Our founding story
In memory of my dad.
He's the reason I do this work.
In August 2012, my father died of a heart attack. He was 64. There was no warning. Whisten Insurance exists because I never want another family to feel what ours felt.
The weeks that followed were the education no licensing exam ever gave me. The paperwork, the phone calls, the scramble to understand what he had and what he did not. All of it in the middle of grief.
That is the family I think about every time I sit down to walk someone through their options.
